POJOKSINEMA – Film  The Deep House layak anda nikmati untuk sekedar merelaksasi mata dan kepuasan lewat sinematografi yang sangat baik untuk genre horor.

Pasalnya The Deep House menciptakan kaidah tersendiri, bagaimana anda bertamasya ke dalam rumah besar di bawah kedalaman air dengan rasa takut bertemu para hantu hasil olahan tangan Alexandre Bustillo ( Inside ) dan Julien Maury.

Duet Bustillo dan Maury menjadikan The Deep House sebuah keputusan penuh tantangan berat, karena hampir sepanjang durasi para pemainnya harus berenang dalam air.

Disinilah sudut pandang teknis dan sinematografi ala Jacques Ballard menggelembung penuh keindahan.

Petualangan Ben (James Jagger, putra Mick Jagger) dan Tina (Camille Rowe) adalah YouTuber yang gemar meliput dan mengangkat tempat-tempat seram dan menakutkan

Sebuah upaya menjadikan The Deep House tidak sekedar film dengan genre horor belaka, namun desain produksi dengan konsep rumah hantu di bawah air yang serba terekam sempit dan sesak, terlihat mahal dengan misteri dan terornya.

Film ini, tentu di produksi dengan biaya yang juga tidak murah, coba saja jika The Deep House diartikan hanya sebagai kiasan dengan meletakkan rumah tersebut di atas daratan, maka film ini hanya menjadi biasa saja.

Namun demikian apapun yang diinginkan The Deep House, kita harus kembali pada kesadaran logika bahwa Bustillo dan Maury hanya ingin memberikan hiburan baru bagi para penggemar horor.
