Sayangnya, film ini memang tidak cukup mampu mengembangkan skenario lainnya yang kepayahan mengembangkan presmisnya. Terlihat jelas sulitnya mengembangkan premis dari cetakan skenario lainnya, telah habis dimakan durasi filmnya.

Persoalan kekosongan dalam “Elevator Game” juga ada di judulnya. Judulnya justru menjadi masalah karena plotnya sendiri dibuat nyaris kikuk dengan irama permainan tekan tombol lantai lift!

Pastinya juga, jika anda menonton Elevator Game memang ingin berharap lebih, Bahwa misteri lift mematikan memang oatut dipercaya dalam film sebagai energi hiburannya.

Film yang dirlis Shudder ini memang tidak serta merta berpijak pada arahan sensasi petualangan mematikan di dalam lift. Film ini tak lebih dari sebuah karya independen untuk bisa masuk dalam industri film yang sebenarnya.

Kenapa film ini tidak langsung mencengkram adrenalin dengan membuat teror, keseruan dan misteri yang sangat solid di dalam lift dan lorong gelap. Berandai saja jika -saya- (penulis) berharap meski semua tokohnya mati, tapi klimaksnya juga harus ok.

Film ini dibintangi : Megan Best, Madison MacIsaac, Gino Anania, Alec Carlos dan sebagainya. (Q2)
