POJOKSINEMA – Meski kurang daya cengkram dan tampak malu-malu, “Elevator Game” menyajikan banyak ruang pencahayaan yang tinggi di babak pertama. Hal ini dilakukan agar sesuai dengan kemasannya sebagai komedi horor dengan spirit yang lebih terasa remaja.

Hanya saja, memang tak bertahan lama ketika film tersebut berubah menjadi horor yang mengancam. Kita akan menyaksikan atmosfer ketakutan -yang – sama terbatasnya dengan trik pembuatan filmnya sendiri.

Jika ingin disebut, film ini masih malu-malu dengan flavour penyutradaraan.

Rebekah McKendry  sebagai sutradara bersama timnya berjuang keras menciptakan ancaman yang kuat dari  permainan “mematikan” menekan tombol lantai lift. Inilah yang dimanfaatkan, meski tidak maksimal.
