Menyimak Twisty “Sheriff: Narko Integriti” Film Aksi Seru Malaysia

Sheriff mengajak penonton untuk bermain dengan teka-teki ceritanya, meski bagi saya tak ada teka teki yang harus dijawab. Karena eksekusi plotnya juga agak tanggung.

Cara Sheriff (Zul Ariffin) untuk menyampaikan ‘clue’ juga tidak menyentuh naluriah saya saat menonton. Bahwa, siapapun yang Sheriff sebut sebagai pengkhianat, dalang kejahatan atau bahkan musuh dalam departemen kepolisiannya sama sekali tidak membuat kejutan dari twistnya sendiri.

Adegan ledakan dengan efek api yang besar, juga hanya terekam datar saja. Artinya, bungkusan visual efek film ini biasa saja, tak ada yang luar biasa. Begitupun dengan adegan baku tembak pada babak terakhir cerita , mengalir bak film aksi Hongkong di tahun 80-an.

Ada adegan ketika Sheriff mengejar penjahat menggunakan motor lalu menabrak mobil dan terpental. Sayangnya, kenapa adegan ini tidak terekam dengan visual yang wah?!

Tapi untuk adegan baku hantam antara Sheriff dengan gembong narkotik Tony Ifrit (Aaron Aziz) cukup lumayanlah.

Sheriff memang polisi cerdas dan terkesan keras dengan brewok klimisnya, tapi tidak berarti semua persoalan ia bisa jawab. Twist adalah plot cerita yang memutar, namun jika penanganan naskahnya sangat baik maka putaran itu juga tidak sisa-sia dengan alur yang ‘ngalor-ngidul’ alias mondar mandir.

“Shreiff: Narko Integriti” masih butuh energi besar untuk membungkusnya sebagai genre aksi seru, kejahatan yang padat dengan twist story tapi keren untuk di tonton. 

Seperti yang terjadi dengan Usual Suspect (1996) atau Gone Girl (2014) , punya kesunggguhan untuk mengajak penonton berpikir dengan teka-teki panuh kejutan.

Sementara sisi lainnya, sebagai film aksi seru, “Shreiff: Narko Integriti” cukup menariklah dengan penampilan para bintangnya.

Jangan salah yah, film ini laku puluhan juta Ringgit Malaysia sejak ditayangkan bulan April lalu. (Q2)
