POJOKSINEMA – Sutradara dan penulis, Jesse V. Johnson, mengajak penonton ke tengah aksi dalam One Ranger. KIta akan melihat aksi Texas Ranger, Alex Tyree (Thomas Jane) harus membasmi para perampok bank di sebuah wilayah Texas.

Alex harus melumpuhkan satu-persatu perampok dipelopori mantan anggota IRA, Declan McBride (Dean Jagger). Ditengah wilayah gurun, saat itu Alex sedang dalam proses menangkap pencuri amatir (Gregory Zaragoza).

Seketika itu Alex menerima laporan adanya komplotan perampok bank yang melarikan diri. Secara kebetulan McBride bersama kawanannya yang dikejar deputi melewati area dimana Alex menangkap pencuri amatir tersebut.

Alex langsung membidik satu persatu dari mereka menggunakan senjata laras panjang antik milik si pencuri.  Sayangnya tak semua bisa dilumpuhkan Alex.

Satu-satunya yang selamat, McBride, melarikan diri ke Meksiko.

Tidak lama setelah itu, pemerintah Inggris menelepon, meminta Alex untuk pergi ke Meksiko untuk mengekstradisi Declan McBride.  Biasanya polisi Meksiko tidak akan mengizinkan ekstradisi seperti itu.

Akan tetapi mereka bersedia melanggar aturan dalam kasus ini dengan syarat Alex menjemput sendiri McBride. Hanya saja, ekstradisi itu tak berjalan mulus.

Usai alex menjemput McBride dalam perjalanan ia harus berhadapan anak buah McBride yang brutal.
