POJOKSINEMA – “You’ll Never Find Me” diawali saat seorang perempuan (Jordan Cowan) muda basah kuyup menggigil sebagai tamu tak di undang,  muncul di depan trailer Patrick (Brendan Rock).

Adegan mengagetkan gedoran pintu dengan efek foley di film -saat hujan deras serta suara petir – ini sangat menjanjikan dengan konotasi semi-adikodrati. Kehadiran tamu tak di undang memulai babak pertama film ini dengan berjuang lewat gaya horornya.

Tamu misterius ini cukup membingungkan penuh teka-teki, Ia sempat melihat pernak-pernik barang milik patrick yang sekonyong ia mengenalinya.

Bagaimana perempuan muda cantik itu, di tengah malam bisa datang ke trailer Patrick-pu tidak pernah terungkap alasannya. Ia mengaku bahwa dirinya tertidur di pantai hingga terbangun lalu dalam perjalanan pulang, karena hujan lebat ia menghampiri trailer Patrick.

Agak gamang alasan tersebut. Namun lagi-lagi di kesempatan lainnya saat ia menceritakan kembali justru detailnya berubah.

Secara keseluruhan sikap perempuan tersebut tidak sesuai dengan kondisinya.

Dia mencoba menjadi sosok perempuan yang pemberani dengan keraguannya menyimak perilaku Patrick. Ia mencoba membuat alasan dengan meminta bantuan Patrick untuk mengantarkannya ke kota, malam itu juga.

Tapi Patrick menyarankan agar tamu tersebut menunggu hingga hujan berhenti seraya mengeringkan pakaiannya yang kuyup. Atmosfer ketegangan berbaur rasa mencekam di dalam trailer itu bisa dinikmati lewat efek-efek suara berulang.

Seperti derit, tetesan air, serta suara lolongan udara dan badai petir yang terdengar dari dalam trailer. Semua ini diracik demi mendongkrak  adrenalin untuk membuat rasa takut yang tinggi.
